Located in the park of San Piero in Castello di Godego, the sculpture “Vite in mano” was conceived for a special event and is the result of a project commissioned and created in 2016 by Andrea Fantinato in collaboration with the local middle school and the municipality where it is installed.
Hands have always been a subject explored by artists, who enjoy depicting and reinterpreting them in a personal way: here, vine branches form two large hands, emerging from the ground and shaping a heart, a symbol of the passion inherent in humankind.
The sculpture, made of naturally oxidized iron, similar to corten steel, conveys warmth and a sense of naturalness.
